Yes they are. Aesthetics aren't some big brain science, it's just instincts. Being the best at it or being able to explain why it's good takes work, but everyone should be able to look at something and tell if it looks good. Just try again if it doesn't.

Yeah, look up "twelverolls" on insta, has a lot of quality pictures of models off-duty.
Models dress the best because they dont really try to impress anyone with their clothes therefore they are effortless.
People who browse boards like /fa/ give off that "I was searching for this sweatshirt 14 hours on the internet". WAYWT is definitely the worst of it but reddit is not better either

Maybe some of them put a lot of time into marketing herself on instagram and things like that but I very much doubt most of them spends time thinking about what to buy and wear on a daily basis. They get free clothes, are surrounded by people in the industry so dressing up becomes like a natural thing. I dont really know how to express myself better, but if I look at a fit I can immediately tell whether its a model or someone who is interested in fashion as a hobby.

Yeah but it fits her character perfectly. Okay so a metaphor I can think of is the difference between lets say an olympic athlete and someone who goes to the gym. A model like her represents the athlete while the gym dude represents /fa/.
When you look at the athlete's body, its the results of his training. The way his body looks is just a by-product of doing something athletic. Meanwhile for a gym goer, the body is in primary focus and everything else, including performance for certain tasks is secondary.

Now I realize this isn't the best comparison to make and I'm aware that athletes can go to the gym to etc. but this is generally how I feel about the topic. The people who go to /fa/ just lack the authenticity and in results the clothes they wear arent just clothes that look good but it becomes too much of their identity. Especially if you think about how many people here try to compensate with their clothes and start off with the idea of being counter culture and being better, looking different compared to some random dude which makes them outright reject certain clothes and ideas and makes them biased.

You are trying to copy the fits of a girl that has top 0.1% genetics, she is literally a top tier model.

Find an ugly instagram influencer who has nice fits and won't sway you with her face/body.

Or just wear trad/larme/mori or something "timeless". Thrift dresses and wear stockings, ez even for someone tastless.

Hey fellow female. Cara has top tier genetics, but her fashion sense isn't necessarily good, rather basic. If you like her style, there are way more fashionable ways to pull this off. My advice is to keep lurking, and follow the female inspo threads, save pics that you like, figure out what you like and what your style is. You can go from there, find brands you like and follow them. Or Instagram accounts. Good luck. You could take it all a step further by finding a custom color palette based on you skin/hair tone. Come across accesories that fit within your style and you can't go without. And make some things your own gimmick like that.

Being rich doesn't automatically make you fashionable. Being a model even doesn't. She seems to like the SLP easthetic, but she's wearing it like a kid in puberty. This would be inspiration for junior high school students in a teen magazine. I'm being a bit dramatic over it, it's not extremely bad. But I wouldn't consider this a role model fashion sense.

>The people who go to /fa/ just lack the authenticity and in results the clothes they wear arent just clothes that look good but it becomes too much of their identity.

Very very true. People here (and in most places people discuss fashion) reek of insecurity. Their clothes aren't really consistent with their character. Enjoying fashion (or anything really) requires a sort of philosophical underpinning beyond "I wanna be cool/accepted" because (somewhat ironically) you just come off as fake and inauthentic if that's all you have...
