I bought some pants from Bershka the other day, they're (so far) the only pants that fit me skinny-wise (just a tad too short for me, at 5'11")

best advice is to get a tailor.
length is the easiest thing to adjust to buy based on waist fit and just let your tailor adjust the length

Not to state the obvious but Uniqlo has tailoring literally in store.

Additionally you probably know but the pant style had me concerned you forgot that you should be more careful to not make yourself look shorter with your styles, ankles showing etc "cuts up your body" while monochrome looks trick people visually into seeing you taller. (Ex: If you get ezy ankles get matching socks and shoes in the same colour, it's like women wearing nude-coloured heels with their bare legs or black tights with black heels for a longer look).

Take your measurements too and you'll save yourself a lot of time.
