I work right by the one in soho on broadway in manhattan.

The clothing quality is mid tier, but it has an asian fit (if you're into that), and some comfycore styles (if you're into that). That said, Muji is more of a lifestyle store, with some really cool, high quality containers, stationary, bedroom accessories, and other miscellaneous items.

I WOULD buy some of the quality knick knacks that they sell at Muji, but I WOULDN'T buy the clothing cus the quality is really meh.

Hope this helps anon.

Also, didn't even look at your image, but yeah. Look at the pic you posted for reference.

95% of the store (not exaggerating) is that shit. Like bowls, toothbrush holders, and other lifestyle accessories which are pretty cool. 5% is meh clothes.

mixed
I have some pens, including a fountain, which I love
I have some T's - which wore very well and have lasted well.
had an umbrella - snapped first day I tried to use it in the wind
had some plain glass glasses - didn't last

so mixed bag - love my shirts. scarves, pens

misc other shit hasn't lasted- anything too fragile, that truly needs a bit of engineering or construction - prolly wont last.

I still dig em - love the muji stores ive been to abroad - but would be careful

I'd say the quality is on par with GAP, but the styling and fits are more interesting

Not terrible in feel and design, but I'd rather hit Oak + Fort for similar stuff. I'm bitter because I had a mock turtleneck I got from there that got a hole in it after washing it properly and some gentle wear.

Not sure how wide the Oak + Fort chain is spanning right now since I've only gone in person, but I've had way better experiences even in customer service while in the stores.
