How do you get absolutely raunchy smells out of shoes? My feet sweat a ton and I've been wearing the same pair of Sambas for 4 years; they smell so bad that I've had people gag upon smelling them. I think they look good though and they are comfy.

Pic not really related unless someone thinks I won't be able to get bad smells out and would like to recc me another versatile but somewhat interesting shoe. I kinda like that design but I realize I can't really wear them with as much as sambas.

Replace the insole with an anti-smell one. All insole have an antiodour agent in them but they expire after a while. Before putting in the new insole I suggest you take the laces out, open up the shoes and leave em out in the sun for a day, the uv will kill a lot of bacteria. You can cover up the shoe with a dark fabric to avoid unnecessary sun exposure to the outter. Leave a ball of baking soda wrapped in a napkin in your shoes when you don't wear them/get cedar shoe trees if you don't mind shelving out the dough. Buy some sneaker deodorant too.

Btw adidas has glued in insole for a lot of models so you will have to rip it out, since it's an old shoe be careful not to damage the shoe itself too much. Better to rip off a chunk of the insole and carefully scrape away the glued on part if you want to be really gentle. Remove laces before obviously.

I don't like a lot of unnecessary padding on my shoes and I feel a lot better when I make direct impact with the ground and don't have to constantly push off a cloud of foam every step. I guess it's somewhat similar to the people who prefer sandals.
