It's really a secondary function for a phone to tell time. Like some anon said, they die all the time, especially if you use it a lot. Some workplaces have no phone policies or you rather not carry it as it could get damaged or you don't need it. Even just as everyday wear, it's much comfier and easier to just look at your watch to check the time then to pull out your phone. If you're not dirt poor you can afford yourself this small luxury. In any case, I'm not gonna have a zoomer tech autist convince me to relegate myself to a pocket watch.
