Movement shot of this Patek World Time Chronograph, ref. 5930G. Revealed at Baselworld 2016, it's still quite a young model. It boasts a 30-minute flyback chronograph combined with a time display in 24 different timezones. Given the absence of a running seconds hand, the calibre was also developed to keep the chronograph-seconds hand running at all times.

Have you tried asking a local AD whether they still have the model? Might be cheaper now since most people like the wave dial. Also omega now offers 5 year warranty which is pretty nice. But then again it's not a chronogoraph so even if you need to service it you will probably still save some money due to the grey market discount.

You'll do your fucking ass on it.

The ceramic plain dial Omegas are depreciating like a motherfucker since Omega has gone back to wave dials. Nobody will want the plain dials in 10 years time. I actually recommend you don't buy that model now, prices are declining.

My 13 year old wave dial original Bond Semenmaster is actually as expensive as the ceramic plain dial on the used market. I bought it for 1600 now it's 2500.

I'll just get the grey market one if I were you but be prepared to spend $500 for service if something goes wrong. Not sure if I would trust jomashop to service my watch. I bought a SMP 300 in 2017 at an AD for around $3100usd. But I'm in asia so the price is different. They gave me a 2 year warranty but I didn't need to use it anyway.

No worries. It does look timeless and IWC would be making big bucks, I feel like, if they produce models with their old script logo, it's really beautiful. With the savings, you getting a service shouldn't be a problem. If you spend a little extra, have the dial cleaned, if you want a reputable watchmaker can polish the hands and applied markers although the hand and the markers may not be solid gold like the case so it'll have to be replated after the polish, a little extra cost to having it look brand new. Three points of contact for the escapement, so there's less "sliding" action of the pallet fork jewels.
Supposed to reduce wear and improve accuracy.

Daniels (the inventor) used the system to great effect in his watches (though the workmanship and very low beat rate had something to do with it as well).
Omega tried to implement it with Daniels' help, but the first gen Omega coaxials were of the "two-level" design, an inferior system retrofitted into ETA ebauches. The result was an extremely finnicky oiling procedure.
Omega's 8xxx line of coaxial movements is built entirely from the ground up, and is of the superior three-level design. And by all accounts it works as intended this time around.

If nothing else, it's a cool thing to know due to the Daniels connection.

Thank you. I paid 1400 euros (used, in very good condition). The indices are different because it's a different model. I didn't know if I wanted the blue James Bond one (pic related) or the black one with the sword hands. I went with this one because I felt that the skeletonized hands on the Bond are not as practical and readable, and because the blue may be a bit too flashy for me.

I think it's great value for money. Craftsmanship wise. Materials. The by directional quick set date. Also one of the thinnest automatic watches. Thinner than the jlc master thin. Movements so reliable Rolex uses them in there daytonas.
The dial is palladium, photos doesn't do it justice.
