I don't think it has to look gay. Around here a lot of trashy guys have earrings, so for me it can also have a "living in a trailer park" vibe.

I ordered a set of these a few days ago... It'll be the first time i wear an earring in about 20 years.(Got my ear pierced when i was 8 and took it out a year later)
Just my left ear was done. its a 5mm wide barbell.
