It’s two different things though. The tuna is big because it was meant for saturation diving. Bigger watches are easier to read underwater.

But nowadays, all dive watches are just for show. Dive computers are very cheap and more vital.
People still wear divers for diving, but it isn’t as much of a tool watch as it once was.

So hamilton is going to upgrade their khaki mechanical with the h50 movement which has an 80hour power reserve. I'm a bit wary because of the plastic parts in the powermatic 80. Anyone knows anything about the new movement? Also I really hope the current khaki mechanical will go down further in price so I can snatch one.

Dalton>Moore>Connery=Brosnan>Craig
Not including Lazenby as I haven't seen his movie yet.
Moore's movies were mostly campy and gay as hell, but as a Bond, he nailed the smooth, suave spy perfectly. The fact that he was the only actor to actually have been in the Military helps. But Dalton gets the nod as best because he's the closest to the source material which is a cold, unfeeling killer who does what it takes to complete the mission. It's why his movies were so dark that people didn't like them. But he's the best when it comes to being book James Bond. Moore is best for being the Bond the movies made him be.

Lazenby isn't a great actor, which is because he wasn't an actor at all. He was just an Australian model that bluffed his way into getting cast. He does quite well when you consider all that and he is naturally very Bond-like, even though he isn't great at the emotional scenes.

The movie itself is excellent though and he's very good in the fight scenes.

"When they brought their idea to a French watchmaker, however, “they said it had no commercial future whatsoever,” recalls Maloubier.
So the men went to a diving equipment manufacturer that led them to a small (at that time) Swiss watchmaking company called Blancpain. And the rest was history."
