Be me:
>go to Converse store and try a bunch of different sizes of chucks
>Go to high-end fashion boutique and try on a bunch of different sizes of sneakers

>realize unironically that the $80 Vietnamese made chucks are way more comfortable than the $1000 try hard high end boutique sneakers

Gucci
I just call it like it is anon, don't fall for the quality meme

>> No.14099963

i have the same pair as your op pic and im ashamed to be seen in them anymore (24) but they are good gym shoes.

>> No.14099972

People's feet are individual enough that there is probably a guy that can't stand the chucks but feels comfortable in the try-hards and it's legitimately not the conspicuous consumption, for him.
I've had good and shit fits all over different price points.

Memes aside, the converse chuck taylor sole rips in less than 6 months. Are one stars any better?

I agree, except no converse shoe is anywhere near the quality level or comfort of a Gucci or Prada, OP is full of shit, and mad rationalizing their own false perception. If you want the shoe to fit, you will figure it out. But if you go into it with a mindset of "quality is a meme", then you will end up twisting reality to make sense in your mind. It's cognitive dissonance at its finest.

You go into it without even trying to make it work.

No, you didn't read my post. I said I tried on a bunch of different sizes and brands, hence, I tried! When a Chuck Taylor feels better than one of these, you know objectively it is just overpriced trash.
