Whatever you do, don't listen to Drumcode. Some of my fav labels are Ilian Tape (for some good dub and breakbeat stuff), Giegling, Northern Electronics, Kann (not really techno), Perc Trax (industrial techno), ARTS. Should be enough to start you off. Just look around on bandcamp and soundcloud for mixes to find the type of sound you like.

Techno is really broad and It can mix a lot of influences, I recommend you to listen a little bit of everything and build your way up until you find a sound/style that you really and genuinely enjoy. Stay away from TECH HOUSE (this is the equivalent of American EDM) and huge headliners, most of them are pure marketing and lack of talent.
Also remember that listening small/unknown artists or niche techno related channels doesn't make you a wise techno expert (purists are annoying af). Luckily old school raw techno is growing up and the number of artists with this vibe is increasing.
