I have a hair clipper and since my style is just long on top and 3mm all the sides I want to stop going to the barber regularly and start cutting the sides at home. How hard is it ? Practice makes perfect. Be prepared to fuck up, it'll grow back so don't worry. Be prepared to cut it all short in case you do fuck it up. Take your time, comb bits out of the way that you don't want to cut and make lines for you to follow. As for the back, take a piece of tape and stretch it across the back of your neck at a good level, then make each end touch your earlobes. This should give a good clean line for you to follow when tidying up the back of your neck. As for cutting it in that style, either do the tape thing higher up or just do upward strokes and do it by feel. I'm more of a short back and sides guy so I'd do it by feel up to where it felt right. Go over every bit with your fingers to make sure it's all an even length, and go over again, in different directions if you need to. Hope this helps.

Same problem here. My hairs are so weak and thin. I just try not to damage them by using shampoo rarely and in small amounts, using the hairdryer only to finish off with a bit of volume etc. Use conditioner often and leave it in for a few minutes.

I've also started using shower milk sometimes as an alternative to shampoo. It cleans the hair and stops it being greasy but it doesn't completely make it look dry as fuck and dead like shampoo can
