I think this because dark skin people don't look good with black. it's the classic black/dark brown aesthetic incompatibility. the advantage of being dark black skin though is you can wear basically any color you want, red, yellow, green, and very bright colors and look great. light skinned people cant do this, but light skin people look good in black, because it contrasts beautifully. unless you are pure ivory white, then it can be too much of a contrast. black skinned people look great in "white skin color" clothes, like fusia, off white, tan, salmon, pink. whereas white people will clash with "white skin color" clothes
