Spend some time at a shop like Twisted Lily (all niche) and you’ll find it’s pretty hard to find something that’s good and attractive and an easy daily driver. Not really. I’m a nichefag, and while I’m not a fan of Sauvage, I know for a fact that most people like the smell, and I realize it’s popular for a reason. To say that the majority of niche frags smell bad, even to untrained noses, is simply not true. Many for sure do, but there’s a huge number of niche scents that smell great, and tons of great “daily drivers”.

Most Creeds would work things like Amouage Reflection or even Beach Hut, the Aqua line from MFK, Ormande Jayne has a bunch of inoffensive fresh, woody, citrusy frags. You’ve got Roja Elysium, Clive Christian Rock Rose, a bunch of the Tom Ford frags, several PdM frags would work. Now granted, these are all expensive, so you’re probably better off going designer for a daily driver because of cost, but if you’re wealthy and can afford it, any of the above frags would work just fine.

Point is, you’re cherry picking. You’re comparing the most popular, mass appealing designer frags with specific niche frags and specific notes that aren’t super popular.
