What am I (average anon) supposed to wear to a club?

I have never been to one but I will meet some friends in London and go drinking and dancing (I guess) in one...what do?

Black vans, boots, overpriced designer trainers or white trainers(preferably not with any detailing like a black Nike tick or something) are all ideal and will get you in everywhere. Anything like air max or ultra boosts or any roadman crep will get you turned away from everywhere. Don't wear dress shoes you'll look like a posh twat.
Wear a black or white t-shirt.

minimal athletic shorts or windbreaker trackies depending on the temperature/intensity of dancing. it really depends on you and the venue though, maybe ask your friends rather than autists on an imageboard

don’t wear white shoes, they’ll get trodden on and covered in dirt

don’t dress up too much but don’t dress like a chav or you’ll have the bouncers watching you

used to be that trainers/trackies/cottons would get you turned away at the door so normally I’d wear a shirt, jeans and some sort of non aggressive boot

Honestly depends what kind of club it is. If it's a London dance club it will be full of filth and anything more than normie core will get you negative attention, jealousy and assaulted.

I tend to go to Indie venues with alternative people and wear what I would normally, the things posted on here! I definitely stand out but (I think) I look good and I get plenty of attention from women. Most guys are friendly too as they look like shit (t shirt and jeans) and like to hang with me.

I can't believe all the replies here though telling you to just forget fashion and suggesting the most basic bland items that will make you not stand out at all. I mean if that's what you want, then cool.

I just don't know why people would dress up to go to the local store and when it comes to a club put in no effort.

I've been to electronic/synth venues and gone full techwear. Yeah you would look stupid at a dance club with chavs like that but in the right setting it fits.

So yes, it definitely depends on the club and what scene it is.

OP just hangs out with his friends to drink and possibly go to a club afterwards. Would you dress up as autistic as possible for drinking at a bar or some friends house?

>> No.13992316

>>13992300
No I wouldn't go full rick but not full average guy core. Are you saying 90% of your time you just wear what everyone else does and you dress in fa things, when exactly? To pose for a picture in your room?

Most of us in the wayw threads wear that stuff everyday...

I'd certainly dress my best (once again; not full rick) at a bar because it gets me female attention and call me shallow or whatever but I like that.

Go on Asos and see how the models are dressed in the latest added items. Basically use a slim fit short sleeved shirt & roll the sleeves. Use black skinny jeans and chelsea boots or loafers that emulate gucci ones. You may also tuck your shirt in and use a discrete black belt that shows. Just trying to help. If you actually need to ask something this basic you surely don't have enough self awareness when it comes to style to put an original proper fit anyway. So it's best to just follow the basic shit rules until you learn your shit as to prevent you from dressing like a clown up until then
