the issue here is the wording, "chose" everything else considered, if a gold spec of dust is happened to be chosen from one of the two boxes on the left then it's a fifty fifty chance
but like the other anons said, if you randomly chose a spec and it happened to be gold then it's considerably closer to 100 percent probability that the box you pulled it from is completely gold

it's also just a retarded example in general because it's pretty fucking obvious visually that gold is gold and silver is silver. What the fuck is random about that?
