Left can make even good looking guys look slobbish and I associate the left with the onions boy style who have it all uneven like that.

I'm a 6'2" athletic guy who is reasonably good looking and get my fair share of interest from women and I go the right style. It creates a much sharper groomed look which women like.

Pretty much the only people who tell you any different are ugly guys who try and shame you "he must be gay" for looking better than them.

Of course we groom ourselves, shower, shave, trim our hair. Why wouldn't facial hair also come into this? people who try and convince themselves they look masculine leaving it "natural" are clearly trying to compensate and would they leave every other part of themselves natural? No woman thinks "Oh yeah look at that natural beard, what a real man" instead they think that guy probably doesn't even shower if he can't take care of basic shaving.
