How come boomers (and the generations before that) are so much more effay than gen Z, millenials and gen X?
Gen z is marginally better than millenials luckily but still shit

is it because boomer fits just exude confidence?
stuff like white shirt tucked into jeans just gives of an auro of not giving a shit about you and your puny opions.
xoomer, millenial (think of MFA core, slim fit cringe garbage) and zoomer fits always emit this aura of insecurity and looking for approval.
boomers truly are the most based generation

boomer clothing is also just more aestheticlally pleasing and improve proportions better.
shirts are objectively better than t- shirts
knitwear is objectively better than sweatshirts
t-shirts and sweatshirts also make you look like a povvo

Prior to the explosion of home television, (mens)fashion was a very slow gradual progression, largley based on functionality. Trends would catch on, but they took a while to reach the masses and stayed fashionable for a long time. This lead to many early-mid 20th century styles becoming classic. They're things we still see regularly today and do not look out of place.

Womens styles were always more ornate, but still experienced a gradual progression up until the mid-late 60s when patterns got pretty wacky. TV allowed the fashion and clothing industry to reach millions of people at once and influence what they viewed as contemporary and youthful. Hippies came to be about. Many of whom made and modified their own clothing and designers took note, emulating the styles of the street which paved the way for the base of 1970s fashions. This was easily the largest departure from "traditional" styles in the past 50 years at this point.

There were absolute defining traits for fashions from the late 60s-late 2000s. Today, I wouldn't say we exactly have that. While fashion is cyclical, it was at one time influenced, where now the late 90s/millennium revival seems to be literal cookie cutter copies of guys from the era, often made with actual vintage peices. The internet has destroyed regional fashion and natural progression.

Let me be clear, I'm referring to fashion of the masses. So called "normie" clothes, as these represent traits of an era much moreso than runway or exclusive boutique trends you rarely see in the street.

The closest thing to real defining traits on the 2010s is athleisure. Much like trends in the early 20th century, athletic attire is designed for a purpose. This makes for a more natural progression than trends attempting to be "different" for the sake of being different.

You can sum it up under the old adage, "Fashion is temporary, style is eternal". Things like simple button downs, peacoats, chinos and cardigans will always have a place because they've had a place for so long. Details and fit may change slightly here and there but stick with a well fitting classic silhouette and you've got a winning wardrobe for years to come.

>boomers
>dressing nice
maybe they did back when they were younger in '66 but today's boomers exclusively wear new balance, starched jeans and 20y/o wifebeaters with holes in them. I should know, my entire family are boomers who dress like this. Boomers had it easy -- clothes back then were made to last and served a function while looking nice simultaneously. Now that they're older, and there's more choices, we see clearly that boomers lack taste. The fashion "trends" from when they were kids were pre-determined by advanced marketers and there was little room for individuals to fuck up because literally all clothes looked nice. The only way you could fuck it up is if you bought the wrong size.

boomers are the most based generation. allow this copypasta to explain why:
Boomers are the most based generation there is.

They always cared about themselves, when they were younger they protested for better rights for themselves. Now that they're older they vote for parties that give more money to old people and make houses etc. more expensive for young people. Boomers always cared about themselves.
Everything a boomer does is about confidence. The way he dresses. A boomer doesn't give a shit about you and your slim fit garbage cringey shit, he wears regular fit shirts tucked into regular fit jeans because he can, he doesn't give a shit what you think.
He smokes because he likes it, he doesn't care what doctors and politicians say.
He drives a Camaro because he wants to, why should he care if it pollutes, he won't feel the repercussions himself.

Boomers are the best generation, they always worked for themselves, they did what they wanted and they always improved their own life.
Meanwhile you, a millenial/xoomer/zoomer bitch is whining on the internet about your problems, while also not voting or protesting or doing anything to change your generation.
YOU ARE A BITCH. YOU ARE PART OF THE BITCH GENERATION
boomers are based. they are part of the based generation
