To be clearer , I'm with >>13925244 to some degree here. (don't know about the liver issue though) Both dieting and changing diets is puts a strain on your body, both this stress and lack of nutrients makes wounds heal slower. Just for that reason it seems best not to make any abrupt changes immediately after surgery. It's also uncomfortable,and might overshadow any issues you have because of pain medication or complications. (say you feel sick, dizzy and kinda puffy, is it an infection, pain medication or the diet?)
In addition you'll just be lying around so you'll lose more muscle than you normally would.
Just from a layman perspective, I'd think that smaller changes are just fine, eating healthy and all that, but doing significant changes, whether it's going full keto, or full vegan or 'just' restricting a lot seems not worth the potential risk.

Usually you'll find that you feel kinda sluggish and nauseated after eating garbage. So you can bargain with your retard brain. "Hey what if I ate a bit of vegetables with nice sauce tomorrow as the main meal, and then we can have a small portion of this food afterwards? Because you like the taste and I do too. I love your taste. I crave white rice sometimes. I miss Japanese sticky rice specifically. How did you ferment your vegetables? Sounds very tasty.

My day: pic related. The error bars represent fifteen percent of my daily intake. I'm weighing all of my food, but I don't really put too much trust in the USDA nutrition database. Especially values for bananas and persimmons seem weird to me. Are European persimmons of Japanese or American variety? Hm.
I think I'm too high on sodium (ugh condiments) and eat way too many servings of fruit.
But I'm still maintaining a pretty okay deficit over all, which is nice.
186cm, don't know my weight, I use 55kg for my BMR estimation, which should be a pretty low estimate. I'm probably more like 60 kg, but I still don't own a bathroom scale.

from memory, 800 cals for me meant i was at a calorie deficit of about 800, so i was effectively losing a kilo per week. (Theres 6000 cals in a kg btw) Other things i did included fasting for the first two days, drinking a minimum of 5 cups of black coffee and i logged everything i ate in an app called easydietdiary. I also smoked menthol cigs during this time which I found very effective in suppressing my appetite, but doing this ruined my skin and hair. The multivitamins mean you can eat however little you want without becoming deficient in anything.

I try to stay below 1500 calories to maintain a 200 kcal deficit (relative to my BMR).
I had some issues with food volume, too, but now I'm mostly used to it. It takes me about one hour to eat and more half an hour to prepare my meals, though. It's more like I'm having three meals over the course of an hour.
If you really want some easy calories if you're not feeling hungry though, eat nuts. These things are crazy calorie dense. I ate a handful once and they had more than 200 calories.

it's hard to say. it all depends on your body structure. a true 180 cm guy, could just have a really long huge head, but on top of a normal 177 cm guy's body. and so, your huge egg head will literally be adding so much weight to your overall weight, and you need to account for things like that when comping bmi.

you could a have an normal 5'10 guy's body, but have a really short small skull, and so, you instead of being 5'10 overall, you actually 5'9 (but with a small head), and so you bmi will be out of whack, bc your head is smaller than it should be, so it will make you weigh less overall, and think you need to add more weight to account for that small head. it's impossible to lose "head weight", and skull weight, yes you can lose fat off your face, but not your brain, which weighs alot and is dense.

Does anyone else involuntarily vomit while/after fasting?? I don't usually fast for long, but a couple of times now, I've gently broken a fast and my body responded by making me violently throw it up w/ all the water I've drank. One time, it was literally 1 bite of apple.
Anyway, just now was different. I was on hour 50 with nothing but water and a couple tiny licks of Himalayan pink salt, and I suddenly NEED to throw up. I do so, and it's completely GREEN with floating stuff... almost like chewed up spinach or cilantro?? But I hadn't eaten anything like that, even before my fast. It freaked me out but I looked it up and apparently it's stomach bile.

TL;DR: Does anyone else get super ill and need to throw up just from fasting a bit and/or breaking fasts?? Does my body just really hate fasts? Btw I don't ever make myself throw up, so that's not the culprit.
