Why is nightwalking a common thing to do among anons? I started doing it 2 years ago and haven't stopped since. Even snow cant stop me from doing it.

Anyone here /nightrides/? I just go on busses and trains late at night for the comfyness of it.

I can't really explain it too. It just feels comfy for me to ride half empty bus home at frosty snowy evening. When /nightwalking/ you get different stimuli compared to crowded clumsy and stressful daytime especially in working hours. I know that if I was commuting and took bus at night every single night it would lose its magic instantaneously. At night you are left in empty and you can experience the best of world without being tied by social constructs and basic things you have to care of and your mind can relax as it doesn't need to care about all that.
When I had my first accidental nightwalk after coming back from very unpleasant situation I had so intense enlightenment moment that I literallu spent couple hours sitting on a bench and enjoying thinking about all kinds of stuff and I wish I fucking had some paper and pencil then cos this kind of think isn't gonna repeat on a while

On days off work, I like to take the bus to the thift store & the grocery store after dark. Very nice in the winter when I can ride the bus with dim nighttime lighting, get some stuff and come home to a comfy heated apartment

& visiting my mom's house for the holidays is peak comfy for similar reasons. The bus ride at night is like 2 hours and it goes over a big bridge.
