Nah, I dress how I want. If I'm two-minded about a cop I'll ask her about it. She does the same with me. You don't want your partner looking like shit next to you when you go out and if you know you can trust each other's taste then it's like asking yourself for a second opinion. Everyone makes bad impulse decisions. Having someone to defer to when you're not sure is one of the best benefits of being in a long-term relationship. You don't need to ask for your partner's approval on everything you wear like some sort of sboy. But if you were about to walk out of the house with a fedora on, you better hope your gf/wife has the taste and sense to tell you that you look like shit. And if you don't care, then that's cool. We disagree on fashion all the time. But it's better to have a second opinion that you can trust and consider. In this case I've considered it and she's right.
