I'm getting my fragrance collection started. I have already picked up Narciso Rodrigues: bleu noir as a daily driver that is inoffensive and can be used in a professional setting.

Now I want something that is appropriate for going out in the wintertime: Romantic dates, visiting christmas market with friends, going to concerts (classical music) that kind of stuff.

I'm looking at Dior Homme Intense and Chanel Antaeus. I can get both for almost exactly the same price, I have tried and liked both. Which one should I get in your opinion?

>> No.13891373

Unscented deodorant such as Schmidt's or Crystal plus the fragrance of your choice. Please be sure you wash thoroughly and have zero trace of stink before applying either deo and fragrance to your pits. Also Axe spray isn't usually deodorant anyway. It's usually just cheap fragrance, though there are a few varieties that include antiperspirant (Axe Dry).

>> No.13891394

>>13891329
Non-scented or lightly-scented deodorant is a thing my nigga. For non-scented options, those crystal deodorant sticks mentioned by >>13891373 are quite popular. Dove also makes a non-scented 48hr dry spray antiperspirant that I like (it's marketed to women but it's non-scented so it doens't make a difference). For a lightly scented option and my personal favourite, Jack Black makes a high quality deodorant/antiperspirant that smells great, but the smell doesn't project and won't clash with your cologne.

Plus he got fucking Alberto Morillas to make his juice. The guy has made some incredible scents. There's a small clip in the video of him getting female reactions of his fragrance and they instantly give it a 10/10. That kinda worries me because it could also be some super generic mass-pleaser. It's funny, he shits on anything popular because he knows he can't pull it off by grabbing pussy. Peter is a symptom of nichesnobbery. Has everything, and yet nothing. Has a cool job, plays guitar, and still you can sense that sadness in the tone of his voice because he can't get women. Real chads tearing clam are out there wearing Axe and catching digits. The whole reason for his fragrance kick was literally cause he was done dirty by a broad. That's as pathetic as it gets lmao

I have a nice thought experiment for scents.

You are a high school teacher in a closed classroom with closed windows and thirty 10/10 cute or pretty schoolboys. Such as young DiCaprio. Imagine everyone wears a same scent, such as 30 BdC wearing boys or 30 Encre Noire boys. If you imagine you need to ventilate the classroom or suffocate on some particular fragrances, that scents are bad.

Wearing this on a cool day here in SoCal. Reminds me of wonderwood by cdg without the sandalwood and pepper replacing it with varnish and some weird fucking whiskey smell to it, which is good to me. Sad it doesn't last long though.

What fragrance do you wear on those days when you… don’t really want to wear anything in particular, actually? You know, those days in which your oriental spicy niche stuff, your manly woody powerhouses and even your citrusy summery colognes all seem to make too much of a statement? Is there a particular bottle you reach for when you “just want to smell good” without even trying?

I wore Tobacco Vanille once and of all the days it had to be the day they turned the heating on and I choked people out. Never mind...

I actually got a compliment today for Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. From a woman! Although she’s 12 years older and married so I’m not getting to excited, but it did make me grin all day.

2 of those 3 (excluding TF) are among the most inoffensive, mass-appealing frags out atm. You must also smell of bo, cigarettes, or be ugly as shit if you're getting bad reactions to those. That, or you are applying wayyyy too much. Either way, git gud scrub.

>> No.13900506

>>13900502
I think it’s probably a mixture of it being 99% Men I work with and being quite humid. I don’t smoke or smell of BO, and I definitely am not ugly. Not ugly enough for negative smell reactions at least. I guess it’s bevause they’re stereotypically “manly men” who want to smell like hammers and grease so L’Homme is probably a bit out there for them.

>> No.13900568

Ohhh shit nigger why didn't you say it was dudes with bad reactions? That's not bad, you're gonna get roasted by male coworkers no matter what, especially if you have a blue collar job. If you want them to like it try Dylan Blue.

For real, though, try Fahrenheit, or any fougerre. Azzaro Pour Homme or Brüt for cheap, Rive Gauche or something Penhaligon if you wanna soend some more.

PdM is my favorite house, I have 6 of theor frags. Herod is my 2nd favorite behind Godolphin. People will tell you all these cheap tobacco frags because they share a note with Herod, but none of them are that similar. The most similar frag I own is L'Homme Ideal EDP. It's the same type of sweetness and warmth with awesome longevity. It doesn't really have any tobacco but in my opinion the tobacco isn't the star of Herod. You alrwady know what Herod smells like so get a sample of LI and see what you think.

I was trying to choose between GD and La Yuq because I wanted a TL-like frag. GD was more subtle on the leather. The first time I wore my sample I was seething because the leather seemed to disappear after a short time. About 20mins into my seething I smelled something and was like GODDAMN what smells so fucking good? I looked around my house and eventually realized it was GD; the leather goes away pretty quickly, but what comes after is a drydown to die for. After more autistic testing I realized I can still smell a little leather the whole way through, but when the basenotes come to the front and mix with the leather it creates something really special to my nose.
>Pegasus
