This is basically the attempt at becoming a techwear ninja, except that you seek to retain the proven aesthetic of age-old traditional clothing. I've been thinking about this combination for quite some time myself.

On the one hand you have the efficiency and industriousness of current age: we have synthetic fibers that allow for very lightweight yet highly functional clothing and are able to sew clothes together with great precision.

On the other hand we have a time-proven aesthetic: since clothes were made it has been made apparent that people like their fabric to be loose and sleek. Historically silk has been glorified so much because it exemplifies these qualities. It is a very light fabric that loosely flows around your body, yet does not wrinkle and remains smooth. Besides very short lived trends this principle also mostly still applies today, is drowned out by a lot of consumerist noise though.

This is the first duality of this aesthetic. There is a second one though: that between the workwear and the intellectual aesthetic. The workwear aesthetic is attractive because it grounds you in the present day culture and makes you relatable. You simply are more sympathetic and approachable to other people. The intellectual aesthetic of course exemplifies the opposite: your being removed from the world, thus interesting.

Workwear aesthetic shines through in the choice of clothing pieces itself. The combination of boots, pants and 2 casual sweatshirts with rough accessories. The intellectual aesthetic on the other hand is exemplified by the choice of colors, fabric and general high quality of the pieces of clothing you choose to wear.
