I keep my samples and bottles as out of the sun as I can, given I've got an east facing window in my room.
My bottles are huddled behind a cabinet away from direct sunlight and the temps are typical for english weather.
Do I worry about using up my bottles in the next 5-10 years, or am I safe?

teakwood smells like a fruitier a&f fierce. it's really nice, but the star of the show is definitely bourbon. it's their best release to date. even better than mahogany woods imo. it's a more masculine smelling Prada l'homme. Different business models. No physical shop to rent, hire and manage stuff means lower costs (and Harrods is a particularly expensive one). They also probably buy back older batches from retail shops. I posted above about YSL Kouros being on 50% sale at my local shop. It's probably due to low sales on that particular frag and this whole batch of Kouros is approaching the time limit of storing fragrances there, so they try to sell it desperately little above the value they got it from the producer. In this case 50% down means that it is (way) cheaper than on notino/fragnet right now. You know what's the next step if they still won't be able to get rid of this batch even with that promotion? They'll probably sell it to notino/fragnet and they'll sell you it back only for 10% extra. With such low maintenance costs as online shops have they can sell them that cheap and then multiply profit by volume of sales. Eventually you'll find someone to buy it and you only pay for servers, warehouses and low qualified workers to pack and send these frags.

I know one of you reviewed this and said it was Sauvage but better and you’re right. If Sauvage is Johnny Depp than Hermann is Jeffrey Dahmer. Its spooky and hollow, very shadowy. Its so much better than Sauvage but it has a much darker inflection. I got a lot of complements, one girl said it smelled manly and masculine but good. Man, I've been putting off this meme for a while now. Managed to build a decent collection this year but I always keep thinking about Eros.

I first smelled it in April and I loved the minty opening and apple but couldn't stand super cloying sweetness. Despite that, I have a feeling it'll be amazing now that it's colder. The bottle design is one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen.

It's over hyped but expensive enough that you won't smell it around you often. Maybe if you work in a big corporation, but otherwise it's rare enough for people who like it on you to ask you what it is. I'm not a fan of Aventus but it's given me a lot of compliments and that's the only reason people actually wear it.

Can I give you all a little advice? I see a lot of guys who claim to be older saying they wear those candy-sweet clubbing frags because that’s what young girls like.

Let me let you in on a little secret: young girls fucking live older guys. Young girls think that if a sophisticated older man wants to be with them, it means they’re special, and they love having you to show off to their friends. Also helps that as an older dude, you have money, a car, and your own place, and aren’t an awkward, spergy fuck like most teenage guys. A 35 year old who has his shit together is a helluva lot more attractive than a 17 year old who still lives with his mom. So here’s the thing: they don’t want you to dress or smell like a teenager. They want a daddy. They want an older guy they can show off. Wearing a more mature scent only adds to your appeal with them.
