I'm >new to fa so I have no idea. I know a lot more about bikes than fashion.
Most of the name brand motorcycle gear makes you look like a power ranger. Leather riding jackets have all of the padding in them so they're uncomfortable to just wear. I'd be willing to sacrifice comfort for looks to an extent, I just don't want to look like a tryhard

I dont know much about bikes but i’d try the japanese brands. I dont think u should do full matching outfit. Get a power ranger top and pair it with very plain pants and you’re all set. I cant find an exAct example of what i’m saying but pic related looks pretty decent and i believe you could wear knee pads over it and be fine? It’ll look fine anyway

Alright I know nothing of fashion and am trying to improve my wardrobe. My local mall is a local mall, so everything there sucks
There is a "premium outlet" mall relatively close though, but I know nothing of the stores there. I'm trying to compare the mall listing to the store list on tuxbell, but there are no stores from the list at the mall

I know it's a bit much to ask, but could someone go through the directory and point out stores that might be worth visiting?https://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlet/ellenton/stores

Are Filson tin cloth and other high priced waxed jackets warm enough for a midwestern winter? Reviews are all over the place and I bet most of these people don't know what a real winter is. General waxed jacket advice also welcome.

You fool, you’re not supposed to go blindly by brand. I could take you to prada or burberry and you would still manage to look horrible. If i were you i would lurk and learn more about fashion before blindly spending money. I see some promising stores on that list but if you can even pick them out, it would be useless to you. If you really need clothes just go online to everlane and buy shit from there. You literally cannot fuck up with everlane because the selection is so small and basic and their stuff is pretty alright.

Saks
Vans
Converse
Levi's

Most of those stores are hardly "premium," the same shit you can find at any basic mall.

Also careful with "factory" versions of brands. Keep in mind they are cheaper because the quality is cheaper than the regular brand stuff. That being said, J.Crew is also good and Gap for basics.

Where can I get this style of shirt? Floral and somewhat shiny (silky?).

Newbie here, I'm all about versatility as I'm starting out, I want pieces that I can use with the most ammount of outfits.

1. Are there any situations where i'd need dark wash blue jeans over black jeans? It seems to me like black can be substituted for it in almost all scenarios.

2. How's the color and wash on these jeans in terms of going with everything?

Also for these pair of black jeans, are they the right color to go with anything (dressed up and down) or are they too faded in places to pull off business casual?

>> No.13851325

>>13851251
>>13851254
You can switch dark blue out for black almost always but not vice versa. There are time where black is much more preferable.

The wash of your jeans is a major issue. So is the cut, unless you're always wearing boots. I personally think a deliberate fade and creases along the thigh look very artificial. To each their own though. The black jeans you posted look grey, I think black jeans should be able to pass as black chinos, they should be as black as possible.

>business casual?
If you're over 35 then yes, if not then no.
