Great response, my point is, and I'm not trying to flame you but a water fast is very different from intermittent fasting. You can drink all the zero calorie soda, sports drinks, black coffee, or whatever you want while you're doing a normal fast. When you're water fasting though literally any form of nutrients you intake will partially negate the positive effects of restricting yourself to only water and salt. That's the reason you can't even drink black coffee (although the calories are almost impossible to measure, they're still there) or vitamins/supplements while water fasting.

Restricting heavily works for some people, but in a lot of people it just creates a cycle of binging and fasting that, while unhealthy, is also just rather ineffective. I’m 169 cm and 61 kg
I’m female and my goal weight is 55kg for now. (I plan to go lower if i hit them)
My heaviest weight was 80 kg 2 years ago and my lowest was 59 kg last year after a surgery i had. (After that i was a stable weight of 63kg till i lost control and went up to 68kg in the beginning of the year)
Now I’m back to 61 kg.

Don't be an idiot. Your BMR is like 1400 kcal so as long as you do some light physical activity you can eat like a normal person and lose weight. And you're actually going to stick with it and be able to maintain a BMI of like 19.

There is actually a magic way to lose weight and then stay at that weight and I am surprised it isn't being repeated in these threads non-stop, it's called Intermittent Fasting. I've been doing it for 2 years now, I do not even look at what I'm eating, I am eating every day until I am satiated and I am an extremely healthy weight. Now imagine if you did do IF and counted calories, eating at a moderate caloric deficit of like 200 kcal. Doing IF will eat up your body fat like no tomorrow, if you want to accelerate this whole process while staying healthy I recommend doing cardio in a fasted state so your liver's glycogen stores get used up.

I don't know where you're getting 50 calorie chai lattes but cut them out and drink black coffee. If you can't handle black coffee then don't drink it at all.

Eating a gigantic salad with a very low calorie dressing and some protein will afford much more energy for around the same amount of calories as a day of oranges.

Most important is doing intermittent fasting/time restricted eating. It will literally change your life. It changed mine, I've been eating one meal a day for a long ass time now and I don't think I'll ever change.

As far as 'getting skinny' goes literally anyone can change the size of their body, but people have different body types. You're 19 which is a bonus as you're still very young and will have a much easier time compared to a woman twice your age. If you can do it, sure, do it. But keep in mind that keto will get bland very fast, there are not a lot of recipes options. While some healthy carb staples allow for great variety, such as whole wheat bread with variousspreads and toppings, then you have a multitude of potato and whole wheat pasta dishes etc. And brown rice and beans can be pretty cool every now and then, I usually prepare it with fish, veggies and some onions sauce.

Personally I tried doing OMAD for some time because of schedule issues, but it's pretty tough. Eating and digesting your food becomes this whole multiple hour long event which noticeably impacts you for that duration of time. You're entering a very dangerous realm when you start mixing and try to get the positives of both. You can end up severely damaging yourself if you're not careful and don't take it slow at the start while you're getting used to it. Long term negative effects are in no way worth 'being skinny'. If you are considering or the other, do IF or OMAD (to clarify, OMAD is IF but IF is not necessarily OMAD if that makes sense). You can definitely do IF/OMAD while eating eggs and veggies. It literally just about not intaking any calories for an extended period of time.

I would start with a 10/14 (10 hours eating, 14 hours fasting) to try it out and slowly decreasing your feeding window. If you believe you have strong willpower or less likely to break start with 8/16.

If you ever do want to try OMAD, don't gorge yourself during that meal, I still eat at a serious deficit and it's great.

The human body can go almost a month without food as long as it's getting water. That time frame can be severely cut down if you're underweight with a low body fat percentage so like I said, be careful.

Your metabolism will not be fucked up if you fast. In fact any form of fasting drastically helps your metabolism. Modern humans in 'first world countries' are so used to a constant stream of caloric intake that the average person eating three square meals a day does not have time to properly digest food, and it's akin to an endless cycle of gluttony even if they're in shape.

If you're just trying to do a water fast, for whatever reason, I would say go ahead, just remember the salt and water. If all of the salt is lost from your body your heart will stop, you will collapse, and you will die. However if you are ever interested in intermittent fasting or time restricted eating I think you might like that as well. Again, that could be dangerous if you don't reach your recommended calorie intake and end up in a deficit.

There are a couple benefits, some of them vary from person to person though. First there is an increased secretion of GH which will help in repairing cells and building muscle, although we are not sure if these spikes level out throughout the day right now in human test subjects. Second there is autophagy, which seems to be a pretty certain effect of IF and strengthens the bodies' immune system, it has been the subject of recent research in medicine esp. with a focus on cell mitochondria action and a few recent Nobel prices went to research teams in this area. The reduce in inflammation and oxidation is intimately related to this and everything that follows from it (i.e. a strengthened immune system, protection against cancers etc. Right now the hottest theory in medicine is that our immune system naturally hunts cancer cells and it only manages to strive once our immune system is overwhelmed and/or disabled, so giving your body the ability to repair cell damage is extremely valuable).

These are the 2 biggest effects besides maintaining a low bodyfat percentage, but there are others, such as for some people an increase in clarity and concentration due to release of noradrenaline during the fasting window (which is also why it is hard for some people to fast in the evening and fall asleep, your body is telling you to stay awake and go search for food) and range of other suspected effects such as in improvement in memory and learning. Then there is of course the control of insuline levels which wards against diabetes and possibly Alzheimer's, a lowering in LDL cholesterol and subsequent strengthening of the cardiovascular system, and a variety of permanent changes in gene expressions which honestly aren't yet understood.
