Opinion on this? I had thought that it is a very solid green scent (often compared to GIT), but my girlfriend told me recently that it smells like a cheap generic male perfume. It's OP. Finally my Arabian clones arrived. Gonna live review them for you (how do they smell for first 30 minutes). If you're interested in comparisons with originals, I can deliver over the weekend by taking them to my perfumery.

>Surrati Tuskan Leather (TF Tuscan Leather)
Disappointed in the opening. It smells like wet cardboard mixed with raspberries. However, after few minutes scent is getting more rounded and the leather is more easy to spot. There are some floral notes in the background that I can't distinguish. 6/10 for the opening (but it could be due to my skin chemistry).

>Surrati Kreed (On internet they write that it is Aventus dupe but I believe there are two Creed's dupes by Surratti and this one is GIT)
HOLY SHIT it's perfect green perfume and exactly how I imagined GIT. If the sillage and longevity will be good then it's instant 10/10. Beautiful, rich violets, iris and verbena. It's smells creamy and luxurious.

>Surrati Tom Oudh (TF Oud Wood)
I'm not very familiar with Oud perfumes but this one is very woody and pleasant with some sweet (spicy?) and musky twist. Probably I applied too much and the opening is a bit synthetic. 7/10

>Surrati Black Oudh (Montale Black Aoud)
Very dark and elegant red rose + Oud. Smells very sophisticated and is probably very good to layer with something else as a base perfume. 8/10

>Swiss Arabian Black Afgano (Nasomatto Black Afgano)
Sweat smokey with some resins. There's something cannabis-like about it, but it's not vulgar. 7/10

>Al Haramain White Musk (???)
White flowers, rose and musk. Smells a bit like a bathtube oil. 6/10

All oils are very, very dense. I'm not sure if these are 100% parfum oil as producers claim but definitely it's >50%. I've never seen that dense perfumes. Are these oils worth their prices? Definitely. I'll follow up with a more in depth review once I'll wear each one for a day (and maybe some comparisons with originals) to see how do they behave over longer time span than 30m

It's so cheap if you'll order it from internet that you shouldn't overthink if you like it. For this reason lot's of people will hate it here. Personally, I find it very comfy to wear during Christmas time. You know, you and your gf going to a Christmas market in the old town holding each other hands, it smells of ginger and mulled wine around etc.

scent is easily 9-10/10 for me, but the performance is lacking. protip: take some unscented moisturizer and spray once into it to infuse it with the fragrance and slather it on, and then spray on top of it. will last you till the next day.

Arab oils anon here. Surrati Black Oudh actually is better than the Montale (it could be due to some reformulation or something). The rose is more tonned and smells richer. However, shit projection of these oils is driving me crazy! I'll order some perfumers alcohol and jojoba and try to make EdP out of these oils. Has anyone tried to do that? Does it really increase projection of pure perfume oils?

are you sure you're not just experiencing olfactory fatigue? I bough a couple of al rehab oils last year and tested them out. I though the scent had disappeared but my folks could smell me five feet away. I think oils are deceptive with their scents. they're probably so concentrated that we go noseblind almost instantly while they're still kicking.

I'm new to this and looking for an everyday fall/winter fragrance.

I sampled a few fragrances and like Dior Homme Intense and Armani Code Profumo best, but they are quite pricey (I'm still a student). Are there cheaper fragrances that smell similar?

That was a concern of mine. I assume TL is the more offensive of the two, but I don’t mind something a little “out there” as a lot of mine are fairly safe fragrances.

Just spray it once and you'll be fine.

Other cheapies for F/W that come to my mind:

Dolce&Gabbana The One for Men,
Bvlgari Man In Black,
Bentley for Men Intense,
Mugler A*Men Pure Havane,
Mugler A*Men Pure Malt,
Molinard Vanille Patchouli Eau de Parfum,
Kiehl's Original Musk

Oil doesn't project because it is, well, oil and it doesn't evaporate good. Adding a liquid to make it evaporate (perfumers alcohol) absolutely projects it. That's what the ingredients of an actual EDT, EDP etc. are anyway.

Oil will stay longer and smell for longer but only within close proximity.

Add around 3ml of the oil to 30ml alcohol. Or of course 9/10ml o 100nl. You''' have a decent slightly stronger than EDT well projecting scent.
