This board will roast me, because it's full of 16 year olds who think they won't mature and will dress the same as they do now in 15years, but once you reach a certain age you have to dress respectable.
No more t-shirts, ever. No more shorts, unless doing sports. No more sneakers unless soing sports. Jeans only rarely. You can still have a personal style, but just dress in a well adjusted adult way and not in full rick cringe core.
Shirts are your new t-shirts (always tuck in ofc). Chinos your new jeans.
People will respect you more if you do what I said.

I'd disagree with the extremes you take it to. Go with solid pools and casual (but simple) button ups. No flannels, dad ore sweaters and cardigans. You can wear dark jeans if very casual. You can also wear anything by 3sixteen or iron heart.

OCBD, chinos or dark jeans, brown leather shoes and belt, sports coat or sweater, classy (not necessarily expensive) watch. Stuff that and actually fits your frame and isn't wrinkled. Oh and a decent haircut that isn't three months old.
