My ideal life is making just enough money to sustain myself from selling my art to people online. Making more than just enough to get by would be fine, but I like to keep my fantasies realistic (to a point). Plus if you start making too much money it means your fan base has grown to the point that you're technically famous, and fame is definitely something I'd want to avoid.

Gonna get alot of haters but I like my life.

Mid level heroin dealer.

I buy wholesale in a major city on the west coast and drive it 350 miles into an extremely dry, desperate, rich, suburban sprawl. I invest 1000$ and turn it into 4000$ at least once a week.

Unfortunately my own addiction has currently sidelined my operation. However I am stabilizing on suboxone and will begin again without dipping into my own product whatsoever boosting my return from 4000$ to 5500$ per trip, per week.

I've dealt for years without using (see suboxone) and have lived off of this income and lifestyle for multiple years (off and on since 2010) without a hitch.

You shouldn't give condescending opinions on a field if you have no insight as to how that field works. A structural engineer IS the licensed person responsible for design of any building. An architect is largely responsible for establishing a base-model floor plan, aesthetic fixtures, and the overall general form of a structure UNTIL passed onto a structural engineer, wherein massive changes are almost always required because, it turns out, most architectural programs in Universities don't require a single structural analysis or mechanics of materials class to graduate. This begets often erroneous interim "designs" that are more often than not, extremely expensive, moronically unsafe or a combination of both.

This isn't to say an architect is useless as they do in fact perform an integral part of any building design process; but outside of architects like Santiago Calatrava who have Structural Engineering licensure and degrees from a renowned engineering institutions, the overwhelming majority tend to be impractical and work against the interest of both all engineers involved (MEP, not just structural), but also the owner for "aesthetic reasons". This drives up the cost almost any contract and leads to someone like me to have to clean up their messes.

Look up the curriculum requirements of the top 5 ranked Architectural Undergraduate programs in the United States and you'll find with the exception of Cornell, their curriculum OVERWHELMINGLY consist of aerated dogshit. The vast majority of curriculum consists of studio, history, and urban planning classes- what little "structural analysis" courses or assignments they consist of involve incredibly trivial questions that seldom cover 3D statics, much less dynamics.

Was a high-school teacher for two years and it made me pretty unhappy. Quit and moved to Germany to be with my gf, and am just making coffee in a roastery at the moment, which was always something I enjoyed doing during uni.

No idea what the next five years of my life will look like though

Not what I meant. Let’s say you were hypothetically shot by another dealer, or stabbed by some smackhead, and it came out that you were a prominent dealer in the news after investigation.

Most people in your city or town would probably be happy, you know?

True enough but opinions held by others after my death mean nothing to me now. Also I would argue I conduct my business in a manner where I have a minimal probability of that happening. In fact it's probably just as likely as a normal bloke being robbed at gun point by some dopesick junkie. My odds are minimally worse than being random.

I sell to other dealers only all of which I keep close tabs on regarding their legal and financial and am aware of how severe their addiction progresses.

I was a high school English teacher but I’m burnt out with all the bullshit that actually gets in the way of teaching kids. I switched to financial advising and it’s significantly better. I network a lot and see a variety of people in varying social settings. I’m no longer in a highly feminized environment that promotes trans acceptance, lack of all morals by accepting everything, cynical negative teachers, shitty parents who complain about how their kid lost credit, didn’t know that the assignment was due Tuesday. It’s on the fuckin paper. And online. And in your email. Entitled fucks. Teaching in America is whack. Standardized tests that have no measurement of intelligence that I need to teach for. Fuck common core. But i miss working with the students, they gave me energy to persist through all the garbage.

New job is better pay, positive environment. It’s effay for normies but I’m a little too old to be effay by /fa/ standards

Literally every dealer I've met uses the main su stance he derives profit from. Although I will concede it always leads to issues and should be avoided.

On second thought I've meet a couple professionals who dont use the particular drug they sell mainly they have other drugs that are always abused just as destructively.
