well i feel as if they're copying old punk culture. though he doesn't dress like fag, Danny Brown has a style synonymous to old punk-rockers.

rappers like Lil Uzi Vert take that a step farther and wear girl's clothing to really change the game. The same inspiration but with added gay shit.

I would assume it's because of the shifting culture especially since a lot of black communities tend to lean left.
