I really wanted to like this but found it lost it's scent quite quickly.

My best advice is make a list, get to a major mall go to a couple different big box retailers, and spray (1-2) of each one on a different ticket.

Put each one in a different pocket and continue roaming around the mall. After an hour or so give them a smell again. Is the scent still strong? Do you still like it? This is a good way to narrow down your choices.

Next go back to the stores you sprayed at and spray each forearm (once) by this point if you haven't narrowed it down to two you will have to make another trip to the mall. This is good because it allows you to see how long the scent lasts on your skin.

Once you've narrowed your list you should have your ideal pick.

I started with:

YSL Nuit
YSL Y
Chanel Bleu Parfume
Tom Ford Extreme Noir
Tom Ford Grey Vetvier

and I'm down to

TF Extreme Noir
&
Chanel Bleu Parfume

I found YSL didn't last as long on my skin despite enjoying the scent where as 1 spray of both the above lasted all day.

Thanks, I didn't realize how aggressive they were.

Serious question, just tried the BdC in both EdP and Parfum, I know a lot of people say that the EdP lasts longer and they both smell exactly the same (I'd make the argument the Perfume is more woody while the EdP retains it's zest) Which one should I go for?

I think the Parfum makes the EdP sort of redundant, and its performance more than makes up for the difference in price. I don't have to refresh the Parfum midday, but I typically add a spray of the EdP after ~7 hours. The Parfum also comes out of a fresh bottle performing like it should, while both bottles of my EdP have required about 60-90 days to mature.

I should also add that if you go with the Parfum and want a close approximation of the EdP for variety, Armaf Voyage Bleu is widely available online for between 20 and 30 bucks.

If you want something cheap in the range of Tom Ford Extreme (not a clone but a nice sweet alternative) look at 24 Gold. Some of the best performance per dollar of any EdT out there, also.

That might have been true in the past, but current split prices are now substantially higher than the PVI list price. There's also more of a guarantee of quality when buying from an actual perfumer than some hobbyist trying to subsidize his own frag collection.

US splitters on BN seem to be a bit more expensive than EU/UK. It's like 75eur for a 50ml compared to 100usd? The PV shipping cost to my country is 35$ I just checked and I think there's a chance you're going to get fucked in the ass by customs too. So I guess it depends if you're US or EU based.
250ml bottles are 340eur best would be to buy that and split it yourself with 2 or 3 man or just bath in it yourself like the royal oud guy around here.

What notes should I be looking into that Asian girls might be enjoy?
Eros might be meme but my asian friend said she liked it when I was wearing it. I want to wear something less basic than Eros though.
Hunter, a clone by Armaf was also pretty popular with some girls but I wasn't into them and I'm not a fan of the fragrance or supporting middle eastern companies.
