There are plenty of CP alternatives. The closest IMO are the Svensson classic low, which are allegedly made in the same factory as COs but at a fraction of the price. Good luck finding them in stock though

Pretty much any pants, but also depends on the color/texture/print of the sweater

Again, depends on the sweater, and also what style you're going for. I usually don't wear anything under mine when I'm going for a casual look, but if it's a thin sweater I'll wear a t-shirt or tank top underneath (so no nips poke through). Or if I'm going for a more "preppy" look, I would wear a collared shirt under it.
