What's a good place to cop rings for men on the cheaper side? Yes, I know cheaper ones will be shit quality but I more want to experiment with the aesthetic before deciding if I want to commit and but some nicer pieces.

Honestly? Wish. It will be Chinese garbage and might take a while to get here, but they'll be cheap as hell.

Also Salvation Army, or whatever your local thrift store/donation store is. Lots of people donate their old jewelry and they have way too much of it, so they'll sell anything that isn't name-brand for super cheap.

Besides that, look at your local department store, especially the clearance section if they have one. Lots to be had for relatively cheap, since a lot of women like to buy rings and other things to accessorizes for parties and then never wear it again, so you can find a lot of "costume jewelry".
