should I keep buying large cotton flannels and hope they shrink in the wash? I’m /short/ and /dadbod/ so my only issue is the larges tend to drop below the belt line a little too much and only work as like light jackets, while the mediums feel like if I reached my arms together for something they’d tear at the shoulders

Pic related it’s a medium

what do you want, something that fits you bad, or something that fits you so tight it may tear appart?
you're clearly a large size, though. lose some weight though senpai.
why would you care if the flannel is too long or too short, when you'll look just as bad to anyone else and yourself?

I care because I’ll look just as bad lol

I don’t mind a low hanging style right but some of the wal mart flannels I have sit like a quarter of the way to the thigh when buttoned

So should I try and shrink them a little? I mean even if I lost the tummy I feel like the fit would still be weird with the length and that’s just my height which I can’t change

Why do Amerimutts struggle so much with fashion?

To solve your problem would be to lose weight, which would make your flannels fit better widthwise. The second part is to tailor. You can go get them taken up in length at any laundromat or learn to do it yourself with a sewing machine and some thread. I don't mean to ulinsult you but the being in shape is a large part of looking fa. It's a sort of blackpill that a lot of people refuse to swallow

Well if you are working out then it's commendable. Keep working at it. You may want to hold off on flannels until you reach a goal weight or look for stuff that has two sizes ex: long medium or short large.

You don't need to workout to lose weight. All you have to do is stop overeating. You can do that from home.

Just doing push ups and sit ups will actually do alot. Also no more walmart flannels or fast fashion flannels. Just get quality flannels from thrift stores. They look better and are better. You'll have to be patient and try each one on and sometimes you won't find any but it's worth it. Also to be honest, you should switch to straight leg jeans or a looser "slim" it'll look better. Trust me.
