all the people who would look good in it can't afford it. they all wear a similar style but for cheap. hedi then makes copies of those same cheap alternative fits, and sells it for thousands to the rich people who can afford it, but don't look good in it. all the SLP models laugh at the people who wear it, because they all know exactly where it comes from.

authenticity is a dumb word for this context. what hedi does isn't authentic either, he's taking clothes he sees cool people wear and perfecting the silhouette, then selling it for 1000% of the price, that's laughable. i think the worst people off in this case are the people who buy SLP, especially those who really aren't in that bracket of wealth but buy anyway. there are literally so many alternatives to getting that style and you can spend a lot less, and im not talking about zara or h&m
