What's a cooler weather scent for everyday wear at university, that's a little warm/sweet/spicy but not obnoxiously so like spicememe or 1 million, with good performance? I really like Royal Oud cause it's those things mentioned above but in moderation and balanced out by some fresher elements. I just think it's better for dressier occasions and is also expensive. Was looking at Robert Graham Valor, anyone have experience with that?

If you didn't shower, or shower thoroughly enough, M04 would probably stay on your skin for several days. You could feasibly spray a sweatshirt with it and use that as your primary daily scent for longer than the sweatshirt would remain comfortably "clean".
I gave 2x 3ml vials to a lady I work with about a month ago. She smells strongly of M04 all day, every day. When I checked in with her this afternoon about how much she had left, she produced an almost full vial and declared she only recently started on this one. Personally, I'd just be happy to find something fresh for daytime use, something with bergamot because I just dig that smell personally. Dunhill Icon, Dior Homme 2013? Too too many bergamot fragrances are available to me atm.

What you can do is find out which notes and accords smell good to you, we can recommend good tobacco scents or good vanilla scents, but that won't help you if you don't know whether or not you like tobacco and vanilla. cant think of anything off the top of my head but try fragrantica's search by notes. there's a couple options for water notes, you might also want to try aldehyde or ozonic notes for a similar feel. the most common woodsy notes in perfume are cedar, pine, sandalwood, and in the last decade oud has been popular. vetiver and patchouli are also common in woodsy frags.
