Was /fa/ created in 07? I only remember 2009 and 2010 distinctly when I first found it and started going through the stickies/infographics while slowly learning how to stop dressing like shit. It was full of menswear stuff about suits, oxfords, and belts mostly iirc and classic stuff like polls, color theory, basic patterns but it really helped me out and inspired me. Now it seems like everyone and their grandparents is "into fashion" once the whole sneakerhead culture became really prevalent and then extending to normie males wanting to be more fashionable like their favorite rappers, especially after ASAP Rocky released his first mixtapr around 2011. This place was full of some funny characters too and it seemed like it wasn't all just underage cringey male teens like now. I liked the tripfags like denim dan, casemods, cooltop, et al who would actually post pictures and be entertaining and somewhat knowledgeable. I still come here but idk why. At least it's not /mu/ I guess

/mu/ was my home board. It was comfy and pretentious but it forced you to find new music. The board was mainly unmoderated, still is, but all that did was enable shitposters to come and ruin the board with garbage threads.
Nowadays, /mu/ has no more elitism, sharethreads are not as good as they once were and you have newfags and normalfags openly making 300 post Spotify threads. I honestly miss late night /mu/ and the threads about obscure music, I found so much great stuff then. It’s a shame it turned into a 24/7 Fantano comment section with memerap and teenagers.
Not that /fa/ is much better, since it has always been an /mu/ colony.
