What we need to do is develop a counteraesthetic not based upon wealth, with enough oddity to put off the majority of the population at first glance — kind of like gothninja before Rick got picked up by the mainstream. This will hopefully put these suckers off our trail long enough for us to reestablish the importance of being well cultured, not a brand whore, and maintaining independent thought, something lacking from all of these individuals of whom you speak, asain or not (though rich foreigners are the primary suspects). The pain is that this will only work for so long, and in another couple of years we will need to repeat the process. dwc and lunarcore are a good place to start, but dwc in particular is still too appealing at first glance. I suspect lunarcore as a better direction since it has so many cringe photos already, but when properly done it is the most transcendent language we currently hold ownership to. Of course, I would prefer terrorcore. Stupid trend-hoppers will be effectively put off by its edginess and associations to criminals, but it lacks a cohesive shillouette. Strangers on the street will think you just look normal, therefore making this aesthetic fall flat when considered at the level of providing a common language to patricians.
