I think the way Sylvian used his voice is pretty distinct in sound and style, especially in Tin Drum and Gentleman Take Polaroids. His voice combined with the ambient soundscapes (esp in Tin Drum) seem to me pretty unique. If you want to compare them, it's like peak Bowie and more engaging imo
