I think Gucci belts are basic. I don’t like or dislike their designs, they’re just nothing special past their price. I think Versace belts at least have that unique artistic looking Medusa buckle.

I have two of those belts. Complete waste of money. I think the buckle looks nice, but as a wearable item, it's tacky. Mine aren't as understated as that one either. They really only exist to make normies go "wow, that person is wearing a $350 belt". Honestly, who cares about that kind of attention? It's worthless.

I now think that flashy and obnoxious belt buckles are tacky. Every "upscale" (read as needlessly overpriced) brand tries to ham up their belt buckles because they know the people who buy them want everyone to know how much they spent on their belt. That's a tacky thing to seek. Also, a lot of jackets don't actually look good closed up.

She says the whole Gucci, LA bit, while at the same time her face gave the "ego-bruised" smile. It's like that question made her feel so small like ant-sized.
