Not to this extent, and not for brands that have no interesting designs. Well except for scams such as Amiri, to which The Kooples belongs. Now I've been a clueless fuckwith myself and i have owned a lot of The Kooples. When I say that the quality is mediocre, I mean 500€ outerwear lasting as long as H&M shit. I mean involuntarily see-through 150€ dress shirts. I mean leather jackets that your local dry cleaner refuses to take, because they've fucked up too many The Kooples jackets due to the appalling quality of their leather. >>13588724
Well to be fair, Rick owens is really different

First of all there is a real designer value, it's not a ripoff brand and a designer's work is worth whatever people are willing to pay for it. No other brand will allow you to look like you wear Rick so if that's what you really want to go for then you've got to pay for it

Also, Rick is actually pretty good quality and quite often he uses interesting fabrics that you wouldn't find elsewhere, apart from brands with similar price points. So yes it's expensive for what it is, but here again it's supply and demand : if you really like the materials he uses and are ready to pay his price to get them then it's kind of worth it

With The Kooples, you pay absurd prices for low quality pieces which are ripoffs from Hedi's work. You don't purchase a designer's work or rare materials, you simply pay for the brand's heavy marketing (knowing that as opposed to that, Rick does not do advertising) and strategy (the pieces are actually meant to be sold on sale, and the prices are high to give the illusion of luxury to the customers)

>>13588769
Already gave you the ones I can think of. Tbqh middle-end Parisian brands are really not my thing so I'm not the best person to ask that to

Maybe you should check out some small Parisian multibrand shops to discover new things. You can have a look at L'Exception, Elevation Store, Frenchtrotters or Archive 18-20 for instance
