Those two straps on the backpack are made for holding a fucking skateboard, so unless you're carrying a skateboard on it it's a bit autistic. If it was a regular vans backpack then the only tie to skating is the brand and that's not that big of a deal, but wearing a backpack made for holding a skateboard without intentions of doing so is the equivalent of using one of those backpacks for baseball with the bat holders and shit and not even playing baseball... Luckily most nonskaters won't know or care what the straps are so you're good m8. It doesn't really matter in general either, it's not a cringy thing like wearing a thrasher hoodie, I hate it when normies do that shit. Vans are a bit different because most of their regular shoes aren't inherently made for skating, they just have the design. The pro models are the only ones that are, and when non skaters wear those it pisses me off because they're expensive and they waste the shoe's potential. Sorry for the rant, you're good m8

i'm a white dude in the same boat. honestly, you might feel insecure about it---but big foreheads are an unconscious status, masculinity signal.

also, most female models have big foreheads, so women might want to breed with you on the promise of your offspring having /fa/ foreheads

i'm finally starting to just push my hair back and show it off---i also have big defined cheekbones and a sleek jawline, so just showing off my forehead actually accentuates my cool facial features.

if you dont have a super defined face, then id say do the perm thing, try out a lot of big-hair options, let your hair add the lines that your face lacks, if that makes sense. like legit, if you got a doughy, round face, wear your hair fucking wild. go crazy with it.

can't go wrong with thrifting and getting stuff tailored. You should start small, buy something that you can wear daily like some shoes or a coat. This way you will have a lot of bang for your buck, making it more justifiable. Look for sales as well, a lot of warehouses have +50% off sales, but you might be just to late for that this season. Also don't spend money you don't have, bills are more important than looking good.

Right I don't know who you are or what your situation is but I proposed to my fiance a month or so ago. I went with the tradition of spending a month's worth of pay - I possibly ended up spending slightly less than I should have because we live in my tithe house together so I imagine without that I'd make more but who's splitting hairs. I visited all the high street jewellers in my town and they were all quite surprised at how much I wanted to spend and so was I about what I could get for my money. I would have thought as a student you'll get something she'll be happy with if you drop a grand or there abouts.

I'm quite traditional, I went gold with a single nice diamond. All these custom option rings are just opening you up to buying an expensive ring that looks like shit. Don't you think that somebody who knows more than you or I about jewellery has figured out which engagement rings look nice by now and that there can't be that many variations on it?

You'll be good my boy. Plus if you buy local you can have it resized for her very easily if needed. Go bigger than you need if you're not sure too. Then at least she can put it on. Good luck Anon.

Is it possible to look /fa/ on cheap brands like Primark, H&M and C&A?

>> No.13597198

>>13596743
Hello newfriend you can look great in everything as long as the clothes fit well. So yes, but the quality of Primark and h&m is utter dogshit, in the long run items of higher quality are going to save you money because not having to replace all your shirts every year die to shit quality will save you a lot. C&A is a bit better but still not as good as uniqlo. Because you mention C&A I assume you are Dutch, uniqlo delivers there. Also go to the weekday they have some nice stuff at that pricepoint. Check the sticky for more info

shopping for my first northern winter, few questions:
1. does the ply of a sweater matter for warmth? like would it be worth getting a 6ply shetland over a 2ply one? and how many sweaters do you guys keep on rotation at a time?
2. when getting "a winter coat," what style am I gonna want to look out for to be versatile and warm (i.e. if you're only getting one warm outer, should it be: parka/anorak/field jacket/raincoat/down jacket/peacoat/etc)? I never had to learn much about the differences between any of this stuff.
3. and how much money do I really need to spend on a winter coat? I like the idea of getting a classic barbour or something but $400 is a tough pill when places like ll bean have similar field jackets for half that. is it fine to be frugal here?

thanks for any help y'all

Hi /fa/, a /fit/ poster here and a few clarifying questions I thought I’d ask.
>What’s the best way to clean blackheads?
I generally have a clear face and have had one for years now but my nose is absolutely loaded with blackheads and they’re really hard to get rid of. The problem is when I get a few removed my nose gets super oily and a day later they’re back in action.
>Is wearing one color tees fashionable?
I’ve recently gone from an obese landwhale to built fat in the past year and I’ve just thrown away all of my clothes that no longer fit. I’m buying jeans, sweatpants, and dress clothes for the most part but a part of me wants to pretty much solely wear plain on colored t shirts and v necks. Is that reasonable for outings or should I start planning for more.
Sorry for the awkwardness, new to this stuff after being a NEET forever.

for the blackheads check skincare general it's on here pretty often they know their shit. Plain coloured tees are fine, Just don't get too matchy matchy with your shoes unless it's black. Would suggest round neck over v necks they just look better imo. Do wear v necks under dress shirts.

1)higher ply contributes a little warmth, but its negligible compared to thickness and material

2)if it gets really cold, dont go for a raincoat/anorak (unless its thick and from a reputable outdoors company, and you have a fleece/down jacket) or field jacket. if you have a job with a dress code, a peacoat or overcoat is a good idea. if you get a down jacket, either it has to be very waterproof, or you have to get a waterproof jacket.
3)as long as the company is reputable and the product has good reviews, it will function well. that said, you still get what you pay for in terms of cut and heritage.
