I posted many capes under a supervillain inspiration thread a while back. I'm not going to dump anything else. I think large cardigans (eg cocoon knits), shawls, draped blazers, and even Eastern European and Turkish style Scarves are accessible, wearable, versions of the cape. I also hold that techwear has some interesting cape designs, and with its current future western vibe (which dominates the new acronym releases) we will be seeing more.
