Holy shit lads I finally did it. After a couple months of sampling, I finally found a wood frag that is exactly what I wanted: Wonderwood. I tried:

Original is good, but more "forest" than "wood." Sport is too sweet, extreme smells like garbage (not "bad," but like that sweet smell you get from a landfill)

Smells a lot like Encre Noire Sport but less moss and more wood. Still too sweet and too much other shit going on besides wood

>Dsquared Rocky Mountain Wood
Very similar to Equus, disliked it for the same reasons

Pure fucking cedar. Complete opposite of the last few, no sweetness at all and nothing else besides cedar. Smells terrible up close but from far away it's a dead ringer for cedar lumber. I use it as an air freshener in my pickup truck.

Forget dabbing and spreading around sprays of an already light EdT. If you want to be smelled into midday wearing CK One it'll take 5 full sprays.

I just wear them when I feel like it. Sometimes I'll wear the same one for a week, sometimes I'll change it up every day. I don't subscribe to the "casual/dressy" aspect of frags. What makes a frag dressy? Because it smells higher-quality than a "casual" frag? I say fuck that, I'm not gonna smell "kind of good" on purpose and "really good" only on fancy occasions. The only situations I consider are temperature and projection (I wouldn't wear DHI to work cause it's strong as hell). I know that isn't what you asked but thinking about it makes me sperg out.

I think most of the casual/dressy thing comes from sweetness, it kinda makes sense to me that fragrances like Ultra Male are considered casual and youthful, while something like Terre d'Hermès feels more like something a prosecutor would wear.
