What are your thoughts on spraying over other fragrances? Do you worry about them mixing or do you just spray over the top and be done with it?

For example, if I spray Mugler Cologne after a shower is it going to be a problem if I sprayed something else more appropriate later on? I may not want to go out smelling of soap, but will Oud Wood clash with the Cologne?

>> No.13539111

If I know I'll be changing frags later on without a shower, I only spray in places it'll be easy to remove
>wrists
>forearms
>on top of clothes (and change them out)
Avoid spraying your hair/neck/chest or anything you can't wash easily.

I come here maybe once a month to check up. Without fail one of those three houses is always mentioned, if not all.
Most people that buy those houses do so because they've been memed into premium status, not because they have some god-tier frags. I refuse to believe there is anyone who genuinly thinks Tom Ford's Oud is better than Kirkdjian's Atelier Cologne's Oud, yet it gets shilled everywhere.

Of course those houses get mentioned a lot. They’re some of the most common niche brands. A lot of niche brands aren’t carried at a lot of places, so of course the obscure shit doesn’t get mentioned as much. Doesn’t mean other brands don’t get discussed at all.

Also, scent is very personal and subjective. People like different things. Just because you don’t like Amouage or Tom Ford or whatever doesn’t mean others feel the same way. Hell, you’ve maintained that Kurkdjian is the only worthwhile niche house and many here, myself included, think his scents are very overpriced and mediocre. This is why you’re a superhero. Not because of your opinions, but because you insist that your opinions are correct and everyone else is either a pleb, a shill, or a pretentious tryhard who only buys expensive meme fragrances.

A lot of people recoil at the idea, but as long as you shower twice daily and use proper unscented deodorant, there should never be an issue with body odor mixing with your fragrance. Unless you plan on regularly stinking or have particularly strong body odor, go for it.

Seconding Perry Ellis. They cheap as fuck (you can even find them at bagain bullshit stores like Marshalls/Burlington etc) and they smell great because they're knockoffs of more popular brands.

Red (clean out right out of the shower smell, meant to immitate aqua digio) and White (meant to be a ripoff of jean paul gautlier, Lemale but with way more pronounced vanilla scent) are the best.

I get complements on them all the time and they're under always like 20 dollars for 1.7 oz.

if i want something more expensive i do like Gucci Guilty black, and Burberry Brit. Spending 200 dollars on a meme fragrance just isn't for me, i have other things I want to spend my money on.

I know I myself whenever ive turned down girls only time I would show a message is if they try to act like I did something with them.

So same situation here. Did he need to say you need to choose who to and to not give blow jobs to, to get further in life? Ya that line was probably to much. But you know what, some girls like being treated badly. Its a private conversation. I dont know all their interactions, but you know think about all the stuff you guys do wtih your gfs. Or hell theres so many rich snobs in the fragrance community like you dont know how the 'real' world works? What happens between guys and girls sometimes?

Maybe she wasnt that "hurt" by what jeremy said maybe shes use to it because guys.. HUMANS get thirsty sometimes awkward whatever you want to call it. But she saw hey wait jeremy is getting big. Maybe he never went around and talked shit about me for me turning him down. But he is actually getting big now, so NOW let me show the message to show how men act.

Does that make sense? again im not defending the one blow job line as I think thats to far. But you know some girls like being talked down to. Thats life.

I feel like this would be like, now not anyone super famous by any means. But I have had say I dunno B level hollywood actress spill her spagetti to me, we talked on the phone before, she texted me whatever. Now if I were to put that out there, that would just be to make "me" look important. Theres no reason for me to do that to try to like damage her, who is way higher social status than I am.

I guess what im saying is I have a sorta of potential moral qualm if you will about the whole texting thing if he wasnt trying to make her look bad after.

I dont even agree that much on the stolen video thing, I only skimmed that exposed video because it was fucking 30 minutes but what I got from it is that Jeremy quoted the guy even though he himself was also quoting someone else on being unique or so, and another thing he "copied" was something about collecting fragrances being fun. He thinks he's the first one that tought collecting stuff is "fun" or fragrances make you unique? Next think you know he's exposing someone because he put Aventus in his top 10 fragrance list so someone else can't anymore. As I said I'm not watching a 30 min video so maybe I missed something important.

Jeremy showing us all a valuable lesson to learn from in this episode.

1) Don't act like an egotistical cult leader who thinks they can do or say whatever they like, have whoever they feel like and get away with everything. You're not going to have any allies left and no-one is going to have any sympathy when you do fall. If anything many will relish the opportunity to stick any more knives in.

2) Don't work with these kinds of women and keep them as far away from your niche/hobby/interests rather than parading them around at every chance - then acting surprised when the inevitable happens while playing Russian roulette #MeToo edition. Not only do you end up fucking yourself and your reputation up, you fuck up your interest/hobby etc by giving these types a bridgehead.

now youve switched to 'she posted it to further her career and thats wrong.' thats just speculating on motive which is a different argument, and even if true i dont see how it makes a difference in this case. we can get into that point further but i just want to make sure if you've actually abandoned the privacy point.

as for point about the 'some girls like being treated badly,' some guys do too. the popularity of dominatrix services and view counts on femdom, among other things, are popular enough that this premise shouldnt be controversial. now, just because some girls and some boys like to be treated badly or talked down to, that doesnt justify me or anyone else talking down to or treating anyone and everyone badly.

Post recent buys/samples!

I blind bought a used 250ml bottle of Bois d'Argent a while back, at first I tought the longevity was SMW tier dogshit but it's actually pretty good. 8 hours later I can smell it close up. Projection is pretty weak though after like 45-60min. I dont really like how prominent the honey is to my nose.

Also got LDDM today, smells great, I dont really see how this is supposed to be really daring/unwearable. I could only smell it faintly when I smelled my hand occasionally but got wafts pretty often. Usually that means it has monster projection. Get the same with oud satin mood and that's nuclear.

Have also sampled some Xerjoffs over the last few days and Roja Enigma which really does smell like cola. Anyone a fan of Xerjoff? Some of their stuff smells really really good, unfortunately it's a bit too expensive for me.

Just kinda making conversation really. Again basically yes a private conversation I dont think needs to be posted unless there is a reason to. So a reason might be like ive had to do myself with girls, someone trying to get with me I dont care. I turn them down, then they try to make me look bad like it was me trying to get with them or some bullshit. So I then show saved messages whatever. So maybe it was a situation like that then I could logically see the reason for her posting...

If he however didn't do that. What motivation or reasons would there be for posting that other than to potentially try to further HER career if you will. Like hey a guy more famous than me got super thirsty, blah blah blah. Again the blow job line was to much but besides that you know what are you gonna do it happens. Ive also had again not super famous people but certainly I mean fuck I guess someone people in this thread may have seen on TV before who knows spill their spagetti while talking to me. Do I need to then post them to further my social standing if you will? I just think thats potentially wrong then.
Anywho not justifying anyone treating anyone badly whatever. But you know at the end of the day some people like it. I think most interactions between people are just that of convenience, people using one another etc. Same cliche story of girls say they like nice guys, but in reality people only like nice people if its convienent for them in someway. They like them, if what is "nice" benefits them in some way. If its someone they dont like, the same "nice" action can be seen as creepy.

Before I got a job as a model, I grew up on popular. Beat up at the bus stop everyday, girls telling me im ugly. I was nice back then but no one cared. Once I became "cool" or "popular" then girls liked that I was nice. its bullshit.

Not saying I dont respect women or anything, I dont respect people period most the time. So I take any boy girl interaction with a grain of salt

Only full bottle I have from Xerjoff is Alexandria ii which I sort of bought on impulse after I sampled it because I could get it for a decent discount. I dont know what I can say about this one. I can't describe it, it's floral and woody I cant pick out certain notes. For something from the Oud Stars collection the oud is really soft though. I think the others are more oud-y. It just smells mystical.
I find it hard to describe Xerjoffs because they are blended really good.
Ones I have sampled were
>Amber&Musk
I think these are supposed to be layered but I tried them separately, musk was pretty feminine and candy sweet didnt like it, amber was also sweet but more unisex I like this one more. Really warm slightly fruity balsamic. Both insane performance. Amber started projection again the next day in the gym.
>Mefisto
Really nice and one of the cheaper ones. It's like smw but with a smooth juicy bergamot on top. I dont like sharp sour-y citrus, this is the exact opposite. I might replace smw with Mefisto when I run out.
>Nio
Sometimes regarded as the holy grail of citrus frags, I initially didn't like it too much because the green soapy neroli was a bit too much on my skin. However it grows a little bit on me every so often that I put a spray from my sample on. Running out though. I dont really get anything else than green citrus neroli.
>Kobe
Also contains a lot of neroli, I liked it more than Nio. This one I find really interesting, it's fresh and citrusy but at the same time dark and mysterious. It has some woody stuff going on in the background and I even get a slight hint of oud in the drydown.
>Richwood
I posted about this a few threads back, the opening I really dislike, some weird ass sour (black currant?) citrus combined with vanilla. After a while citrus is gone and it turns into really gorgeous creamy patchouli+vanilla+sandelwood. Supposed to have rose but I cant smell rose or something so I dont know.

Haven't properly tried the original on myself so I can't give a serious opinion but much better, deeper and slightly darker based on first impressions. PH Intense was a really surprising find I got as a 'fuck it why not?' cause it was reduced to £22 or something like that on Notino but it's really grown on me and become a favourite. Warm and woody with some bitter citrus but at the same time surprisingly versatile, it's wearable even at this time of year, day or night.

Depends what you mean. What context are we talking about? Was jeremy sending this girl nudes when she said not to or? Ive only seen a handful of the texts etc so I may have missed something. Again im of the opinion that the blow job line was uncalled for and he took that to far in the first conversation posted. But besides that I just saw a dude being thirsty and awkward sounding. But id think most of all have had experiences being thirsty or awkward.

If you just mean in general, no if a girl sends me naked pictures my first thought would not be to show my friends or to post it on the internet. But I mean I think thats pretty obvious right? I mean god ive had some .. well.. lets just say girls im not attracted to send me some stuff. And even if I dont like them I wouldnt post it on the internet. Unless after me turning them down they tried to say I was the one trying to get with them. Then I would be like ok really? Whats this check yourself "*show screen shot, pic whatever*

umm I did. Yes if a girl sent me nudes, I would expect that yes she can trust me that I would not post it on the internet. isnt that obvious? Doesnt matter if I dont like her or not. I mean again isnt that obvious though? I mean have we all had been in some kind of relationship here? has your gf ever sent you guys pictures? Do you thinks she sent it to you hoping that you were gonna show your friends?

Hell I can tell you theres one girl she sent me stuff before. I turned her down. She then and tried to make me look bad. And I STILL didnt post her pics. And I mean its obvious its her cut she use to cut her self and stuff. I mean to people who know her they would know if that makes sense. But its like for me personally.. Why do that to someone. She sent it to me for her own reasons. Im sure she didnt send it to me because she wanted people to see the scars all over her. Trust me it irked me that she then went and tried to make up some bullshit. And I coulda put her in her place and checked her in front of a bunch of people. But you know it is what it is I guess. Now had it kept going on for awhile ya I probably would have but you know. Life you move on.

>> No.13543104

>>13542948
Well I guess that depends and does get pretty iffy eh? I mean if you are the one who was "trusted" and sent said pics, and you were the one that then originally posted the pics for the world to see. I think ya there is a moral violation there if you will. Now after that, one person saves, then eventually uploads, another person saves, reuploads. And this goes on and on.. At that point what are you gonna do? I think id still be mad at the original person of course but...

As for the fappening well isnt that more so people hacked celebs phones to get naked pics etc then upload them? I think in that situation id be mad my phone got hacked by said person or whatever.

Anyway I guess I should say dont get me wrong im not perfect ive saved pictures I see on 4chan before. Maybe that makes me part of the "problem" or a hypocrite in some sense from some perspective. But I guess im still a human and im attracted to other people.

Anyway what do you think then?

>> No.13543145

>>13543104
Do you think the people who download and repost nudes have no moral fault? Why not?

In the case of the fappening, you did not answer the question, you're still dancing around it. You just said "if I was a celebrity and got hacked I'd be mad." You did not comment on whether this was a violation of those people's privacy, and as such a morally wrong act. Do you believe the people who hacked iCloud and posted the pictures made any moral violation?

>> No.13543182

>>13543145
i mean of course if someone hacked your phone and posts your nudes id take that as a invasion of my privacy. Now is there going to be the same trust component as if I was in the relationship with someone. No I guess that sorta specific morality doesnt exist. I guess that sorta just goes under thats a dick move dude kinda place. But I guess there is that specific relationship sorta trust obviously.

I guess the sorta moral violation in that situation would be from a "deeper" sorta we are all equal as human beings so treat others how you would want to be treated. But I guess obviously the real world doesn't tend to work that way.

As for people who download and repost nudes having no moral fault. Well I think reposting a nude that someone didnt want posted is more wrong than the act of downloading it right? But I mean again ive downloaded pics before so who am I to talk. Im sure there is a perspective I shouldnt do that as well, but I guess its not really the same to me soooo... If youre trying to say my answer is making me a hypocrite or something again ive said before im not a perfect person. But at the end of the day I consider the trust between 2 people in a private conversation different than this.

I am on a fence about Prada L’Homme. I know it's safe but I am not sure how quality does correspond with the price. I do love Dior Homme line and ADGP though
