Is there ANYTHING more stressful on this planet than picking up a suit from the tailor's?

I'm picking one up in about five hours, it's 5am but I haven't been able to sleep. I already know the sleeves are going to be too long because I was too much of an autistic sperg to say "no, they are too long" when the dumb woman suggested the length to me. I wore a shirt with my perfect sleeve length, she pinned them maybe 5mm above that, much too long really. I'm just waiting to see how bad it really will be and if or not it'll be so bad that it'll be unwearable until I get it fixed. In a best case scenario she'll have done her job poorly and will have cut them shorter than intended. Getting it fixed will of course mean taking it elsewhere which will cost me additional time and money.

What stresses you out about your clothing?

Finding a fucking awesome piece and knowing it has shit construction and will fall apart just as I've gotten attached to it. This happens a lot, because I live in Asia and get a lot of my clothes from markets, not stores, and the vendors buy their shit from random manufacturers in China who don't even have web presences. I have a couple jackets that I think are cool looking and are very unique, I've never seen anything like them in the west, but I'll be fucked if they'll survive even one wash.

I’ve this shirt from uniqlo(website), I’ve owned it for maybe four years now. I wash it with every wear and have worn it at least once a month since copping. What’s your opinion on uniqlo shirts? I think their jeans are a bit overrated.

Like 1/3 of my wardrobe is from Uniqlo, they're just so ubiquitous here (Taipei). I own several shirts and a bunch of t-shirts from them that I've worn and washed a fuckload and have had no issues. Never bought their jeans, but I have 2 pairs of chinos from them and they've held up OK too.

It's not like it's boundary-pushing stuff but in my experience they make basics that are well-constructed for the price.

Stop fucking laughing at me.

I wasn't able to build up the courage to go today, I'll pick them up tomorrow. I hope they don't mind that I didn't show up when they said to.
