I really like their cuts and fabrics, especially the thick poly-mix drapey shirts they do which are impossible to find in the west (seriously why does everything have to be fucking cotton).
I'd shop online but shipping and duties are often more than the clothes combined. It's pretty ridiculous.

Femanon here. I love korean male fashion, I am really into it. I don't have any idea how to start buying stuff to get the look, but I guess I'll look around in my city to find basic pieces and try to get statement pieces online.
Pls comment any shop you've used and recommend.

Ive only ever used the online shop Yesstyle to order Korean clothing.

First the downside: most of the clothing on the site is actually Chinese. You have to filter for Korean brands. The Chinese clothes are cheap, often decent in quality, but the designs tend to be on the tackier, showy side imo.

Korean brands, on the other side, have tasteful, not overdone designs, with good to outstanding quality. Absolutely in love with them. But they do cost something.
... at least for males. Cannot comment on the female-only brands.

Yesstyle also has Korean and Japanese make-up and cosmetics, which are said to be very good.

I have no complaints about the delivery, its duty free (to Europe, at least) and the customer service reacts towards request. However, forget about returning stuff, since you'd have to send it to Hong Kong ...

The sizes also run small (well, they're made for Asians) and may be somewhat unpredictable, despite measurements for every piece of clothing. Would always recommend to order one, if not two, sizes up if you're European.

Let’s be real, the only reason you like Korean fashion is because of kpop and kpop is literally a bunch of American producers making music for puppet idols that are forced to wear whatever their labels tell them to.

>> No.13536987

>>13536964
ive never seen the connection, since the kpop videos i look at only feature females

and k-pop is mostly produced/written by koreans

>kpop is literally a bunch of American producers making music for puppet idols

Proofs please.
Lets look at the K-Pop album that recently topped the American charts.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Yourself:_Tear
One out of eleven song features a non-Korean producer, thats it.

The top single in particular was also Korean-produced.

All Koreans IRL dress the same (not bad but sort of boring), IDK where the fashionable ones are. I think Japan is usually ahead of the game in terms of fashion but since Koreans are way more obsessed with how they look their clothes fit well and have a neat, clean style.

Korean fashion seems extremely shallow and uninspired.
Which is ironic considering that this is fashion we're talking about here.
But even for modern standards it looks very controlled and like a corporate result and not something from the mind of an artist.

99% sure you chose those words in purpose, but the last sentence describes South Korean culture after the Korean war. Culturally, they're a vassal state of the West and capitalism.

Anyway yeah, Koreans don't really lead or produce much fashion. Korea has no equivalent to Harajuku or other neighborhoods where you expect to see "cutting edge" or at least different styles to take inspiration from. It's all the same, look, especially for girls (button up, pants, and an oversized camel or black coat).

Again, it's not ugly, but not inspiring either.

I was planning on ordering a bunch of clothes from different korean brands found on mixxmix but had no idea about import tax so I'll have to do it by the end of the year when I have more money saved up.
I don't know much about male korean fashion, only that some of the brands that I'm interested in sell unisex sweaters. If you're a girl, I'd recommend checking out mixxmix, they have really beautiful clothes from different brands which is great because it's not all focused on one style. Brands like Hide and Untitle8 sell more edgy clothes, while Lonely club or Heart club sell cuter things. I'm not sure how good quality is overall.
