Because loss of appetite is a physical response to being ill in general you retard, and yeah that includes depression. you even see it in animals. Happened to a friend of mine, one of her cats died of cancer and the cats brother stopped eating and died of malnourishment.
It doesn’t have to have anything to do with wanting to lose weight, though of course it might for some people.

Loss of apetite is also common if you have inflammation, as eating slows recovery, which a lot of people with depression do.

if its for a dress and public event you should go low carb for the last 7-10 days regardless, it will also slim down your face slightly and make your cheekbones more prominent. When ive done it, its slimmed my stomach down noticeably but that might just be because i carry a lot of weight in my stomach as im a guy.

The first few times it's a rollercoaster of emotions that's like a very weird dream.
You know it's absolutely wrong and hesitate to do it but accomplished and happy for undoing something you couldnt stop (aka over eating or whatever)
Feel free to do it a few times if its a last resort, just don't fall into the binge/purge/binge/purge etc. Cycle
Make sure that you're never starving, also (for me at least) purging (vomiting) became addictive
If you ate 800 and it hasnt been more than 20-30 ish min you'll be able to undo about 400 or more depending on how long you're willing to spend in the bathroom ans how much water you've had with/before/after the meal
Otherwise feel free to "purge" by downing a crap ton of coffee and going on a 30~45 min powerwalk
Should burn about 300cals, then use the caffeine crash with melatonin so that you're too tired to do anything and therefore avoid eating by sleeping. I tend to clean my entire place at high speed when I need to go for a "healthy purge" then go for a run, come back shower and crash

Drink a cup of water before you eat
Take sips in between bites
Chew well (chunky purging is painful)
Drink a cup after eating

Will make the entire process much much easier but a bit messier. Make sure you dont give in to your low blood sugar after purging and eat a crap ton of sweets otherwise here we go starts the mia cycle.
