Lurk more and read sticky. Figure out a style that fits you and you are comfortable with. With that go out to the mall and try on as many clothes as you can and see if they look good on you. Confidence in what you're wearing is key. Finding an aesthetic that suits you could take a long time or as short as you trying on a piece.
