First of all, chill, this is a pretty slow board. Second of all, when you say a club, what do you mean? Popular dance type? Chilled out cocktails? Because that changes what you should wear. And third of all, no, that wouldn't work, the sports jacket and jeans combo is for 50 year old men who think they're being fashionable, you will look like someone's dad has been invited. Also those shoes are widely out of whack for a club where you're supposed to dance, those are formal shoes for work. Check out the stock at the top of the catalog, that will take you through the basics, it won't 'make you fashionable" but it will help.

So what should you wear? Well if you're starting a wardrobe then start with basic things that can be used in different combinations. Dark jeans, white, light blue or simple patterned (not black) Oxford button down shirts, grey sneakers, navy, tan, grey or olive chinos. If you just wanna buy a couple of things for this one night then go for a plain shirt, the jeans and simple casual footwear.

I would like to look like a man rather than a boy if possible. Whenever I see grown men with sneakers it looks to me like they're trying to look like teenagers. I might also go on a cruise ship, not a luxury cruise ship. I mean they have some relatively fancy restaurants but the ticket to go on the boat is very cheap so the boat as a whole is not fancy at all. Why? Anyway, I've been on those boats maybe 10 times or something, just never tried talking to women, and that's why I MIGHT go again. I got really tired of those boats though, they're nigger tier places, so really it's honorable if you prefer to sit in your cabin the whole time. When I used dating sites in the past I saw a lot of women posting pics from being on those boats though, that's why I'm thinking it might be worth it to go.

I don't think I've ever even seen a tailor in Sweden and don't know if they exist, would have to google it. In Thailand it's a thing with tailors in tourist spots iirc, was there as a kid like 20 years ago or maybe more, you can get a complete suit for a fraction of the cost at home. So you're saying I go buy some type of pants in a regular clothing store and then I take it to a tailor to get it 100% fitting me?
