How come girls haven't brought back the Scrunchie? seriously, the whole late 80's-early 90's things is still going relatively strong. girls are wearing high-waisted pants, fanny packs, chokers & bucket hats, wheres the scrunchie resurgence???

honestly, make some scrunchies out of recycled material salvaged from the ocean, make it a little more minimal or athletic looking, slap something like a Y-3 logo on it and boom, new standard issue trap-goth art-hoe uniform piece. you'd be a millionaire over night.

scrunchies are boss

it does seem like a good idea for some brands to invest into scrunchies. Maybe like Hot Topic or Urban Outfitters or something, but I don't think adding logos would make it look great because they wouldn't really be that visible.

Personally I think they haven't been "brought back" because they never really left. Scrunchies have always been around they just haven't been "in", and I think that's why art hoes and girls like that overlook them in outfits. I believe I've seen some girls with the art hoe aesthetic add scrunchies to their fits.

scrunches suck, they don't hold hair in place. you need to use a regular band then put that on top. Bunch of bullshit

I don't think they're completely invisible, I've seen them at the accessories section at my local h&m.
I used to wear scrunchies pretty often when I was younger. usually with cartoon prints, but I also borrowed old ones from my mom. still have one of them, a black velvet one. feels gud.

scrunchies weren't made to hold hair in place by themselves, they are meant as additional decoration.
